Research
The Tobin Project
From August 2014-August 2015 I worked at The Tobin Project in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I was hired to perform exploratory research for potential new social science initatives by the Tobin Project's network of scholars. My primary research concerned U.S. state education policy and student performance. My work here inspired me to pursue a career in education.
Harvard Business School
In March 2012 I joined Professor David Moss at HBS to write cases for a new course on the history of American democracy. I co-authored eleven cases with Professor Moss and other research associates. The course launched in fall 2013 and received excellent reviews. The cases were published in the book Democracy: A Case Study in February 2017. I am first author on several of the chapters in the book.
